The short version: Ply collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. The only server Ply operates hosts the app's downloads and updates; it just serves files, receives no personal data, and Ply contacts it only when you download the app or have automatic updates turned on.
All of your browsing history, saved links, captures, notes, and Canvas documents are stored only on your device. We never receive, transmit, sell, or share any of it. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.
If you turn this on, the text you send is transmitted to the AI provider or model endpoint you choose. That request goes to that third party and is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. Ply ships no AI of its own and sends nothing to us.
Syncs directly between your own paired devices over your local network, end-to-end encrypted. There is no relay, no cloud, and nothing reaches us.
If you turn this on, Ply periodically checks our update server for new releases and downloads them. That connection goes only to the update server and carries no personal data, just a version check. It is off by default; you can always update manually instead.
Passed to a website only when that site requests them and you allow it: standard browser behavior. Ply never accesses them on its own.
Used only for direct device-to-device sync, and only after you enable it.
Ply is a general-audience web browser with unrestricted web access (rated 17+). It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
